Replacement Can Motors
Can motors can be used to upgrade existing steam and diesel locos. The can motors have mounts that snap into the original motor's frame (some units may require modifications). The can motors for the Athearn locos include presoldered clips, so no soldering is required. All motors include flywheels unless noted and are wired in the same direction as the motor it is used to replace.
